    Hi!
I have some DVDs stored in my PC. They are DVD9 and I'd like to convert them so that they fit in 2 gb more or less. I want to keep just the 2 channels audio and the video quality.
They are Music Concerts. I already have them burned in DVDs what I want to keep them in my PC to play them whenever I want. (the LCD and HT are a bit far away from the PC).

    I guess I should convert to H264, AC3 in a MKV container

What I don't know first is what tool to choose. There are so many! maybe Megui?? and then I don't know what would be the best settings.

I hope someone can enlight me.

    Thanks a lot!

you can try format factory, super or even xvid4psp. There are many others to consider as well.

You will need to use a bitrate calculator to determine the proper bitrate for your desired file size.
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

  3. I'd use Xvid4PSP or MeGUI.

What do you mean by best settings? Best quality? Best speed? Best size? Best compatibility? Best compromise?
