so I own the LG w2252TQ.
My cablebox is time warner. Its the explorer 4240HDC.

My monitor is HDCP through DVI-D. I'm trying to do hdmi out of the cable box into a DVI adapter and thus into my monitor. I've also tried a plain hdmi to dvi cable. I keep getting some kind of digital image out of reach message. I've read online the resolution on the box has to bet set at 720p, but I don't think you can do that on this box. Also, my monitor was working with my pc which has the ati hd 4850 graphics card, but now that too is saying digital image out of reach.

Any suggestions? Is my monitor broken? I called lg the rep said didn't have a solution.

  2. Boot Windows in safe mode to reset the graphics card's output. Press F8 just after your keyboard lights blink at boot time. Or just press F8 repeatedly after turning on the power -- until you see the boot options screen. Select Safe Mode.
