I know this is answered here somewhere, but I am so confused by all the freeware and shareware programs that just don't seem to do what I want. I record onto a DVD-R disk directly from satellite or my DVR. The set top recorder does not put a aspect ratio flag on the video, so watching a 16:9 recording on another TV or computer makes the picture squished. I have mpeg2 works 4, which has been worthless trying to do anything - error messages galore. Also the set top box puts chapters at 5 minute time intervals. I would like to put them where I want. Will Toast 10 do this?

You can use pgcedit to set the widescreen flag, see https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/320583-Widescreen-shows-up-on-the-PC-but-as-fullscr...=1#post1985050 or use IfoAR2WS(for windows only).
