I'm capturing video with my Radeon using ATI's MMC7.
I capture at 320x240... the highest it'll let me capture for an AVI.
I use VirtualDub to convert to Divx.
Do I convert to a different resolution? All I've been doing is selecting my bitrate, codec and all and SAVE AVI.
Should I be changing to a different resolution?
I'm capturing movies off satellite so I can share them with my friends at LAN parties.
thanks in advance.

Since the resolution is already small to start with, do not change it to anything smaller, unless you want to e-mail the final Divx file to friends.
Don't even change it to higher resolution because the quality will suffer.
