Hi... I'm needing to make a connection to a Windows XP Home PC, from a Vista PC client. I am needing to be able to take control of the XP desktop. I'd normally use VNC however this XP machine is not connected to the Internet so I will be using a direct dial-in (modem-to-modem) connection. I was wondering if anyone knows of a free or open source solution, possibly similar to PCAnywhere? Thanks D.

i think if you look up Radmin it will do what you want. It's not free but there is a 30 day trial you can use. It's very stable and very solid as far as my experience goes.
