    false positive
    upload it to www.virustotal.com to confirm. They will scan it with 40 different scanners. I bet avira is the only one that reports this.
    edit
    I should say as long as the file was downloaded from the authors site then it is clean. If you downloaded this elsewhere then you probably do have a virus.

    Indeed avira IS the only one reporting the false positive. Perhaps the tmpvob2mpg.exe and vob2mpg.exe files can be added to its exclusion list within the software (if it has one - i have never heard of it to be honest).

    After submitting the avira they have acknowledged the false positive@

    I use a pain in the ass anti-virus, Kaspersky (but I love it cause I haven't gotten a virus for years using it). It scrutinizes everyhthing. I scanned VOB2MPG Pro it and it has no damn virus, trojan, worm, bla bla bla.



    The developer of VOB2MPG is honest and straight up. He's good people.

    Virus total will report Windows 7 as a virus, if you could upload it.
