Hi, I have the Pace TV Capture Card (PCI). It's based on a Philips BT878 chipset and I've got Pace's latest drivers installed (only since they're out of business now, I don't think they're too recent). The problem is a constant noise on the picture, as you can see in a RealPlayer clip I've captured here:

I've noticed that this is a problem related to my mouse. I've tried it with two mice, plugged in through both USB and PS/2, both do the same. When I click the mouse on the top of the TV application window and hold, the problem disappears. But this is no use for capturing, as clicking stops the capture. The problem also disappears when I take the mouse out, but when I put it back in so I can stop the capture, the whole file gets screwed up.
I've tried another TV program (Descaler) but this doesn't have very advanced capturing so isn't much use for that.
Does anyone have any advice or generic drivers or new TV programs for this chipset I could try?
Edit: The problem does not occur on the Composite or S-Video inputs, but my VCR won't output either of these (only RF and SCART), and there is, as far as I can tell, no way I can get sound from the VCR into the TV Card by any means other than RF.
