    so i have had my hd pvr for about 2 months and its been working just fine until today i turned on my xbox 360 and it displayed fine on my tv,but when i plugged to usb cable to my laptop the tv screen blacks out and gets all messed up and doesnt let me record what should i do!?!

    If you haven't power cycled the HD PVR recently, do so. It's a little computer and it sometimes crashes.
