So can you edit your own thread titles in this new forum system? I know you used to be able to in the old php system.

I was wanting to put an addendum on a thread I just started.
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

I just tried it on an old thread of mine and it didn't work.
Clicked edit on the first post - Go advanced - Changed the thread title (wanted to mark it solved) - Clicked save changes - Edited post still looks the same with the old title.

Thank you baldrick. By the way I was able to edit my recent post on the first try immediately after baldrick's first reply yesterday.

Yep, it was possible to edit the title but only for 24 hours after you made the thread. I have removed that limit.

I see, I thought that 0 was unlimited but I must set a time limit. Now it's 30 days editable. It should be enough.

Can confirm that it works on a thread created within 30 days. For most cases this would be sufficient.

if you want to try and make it unlimited you could try changing it to something like 999999999

    see this

    Thanks Baldrick

No sense in making it unlimited. For the most part, it's going to be:

OP: "Need help from an expert!"
1st answer: "Change your thread title if you want any help"
OP: "Need help with audio sync"

If the problem is "solved" after the limit, the solver could just write a (simple) guide. While the "How do I do this [SOLVED]" is nice, it's not absolutely necessary.
