  1. ....firstly b4 i had installed nimo package i had da playa and its codecs installed an had updated my mpeg4 using win media player...everything was fine....then i had installed a programme called name it somehow it cause purple coloration when i encoded avi to mpeg....so i read the forum and used tmpegen and changed the environmental settings...but at the same time after i had installed nimo....i noticed dat when i playback avi amc and dvi rips using the nimo's microcrap mpeg4 codec and the divx dvd codec...the pictures were very dark.....although the edeges were sharper...but when it came to the regions, everything was just 1 shade of black....i couldnt see a thing...and i think the pictures got blockier...pls help ...i need to know how to change the colour settings...tried changing monitor settings but not much help...has it got anything to do with the yuv colour renderer thing? :(

    Hi Codecs causes a' lot of problems....Purpur colors ?? Have you got
    Angel potions codecs installed ?? Remove it.. If you download diffrent Prog's, Players, demos....etc.. they might install diffrent codecs creating problems.
    Or....uninstall all your codecs.....Only install Nimo codec pack and update codecs throu your MediaPlayer.......Works fine for me...

    WARNING!!!!! If you don't have a Matrox G400 video card make sure you deselect the divxg400 filter from the list of things to be installed
