made off with Apple's top-secret iPhone prototype and then sold it to Gizmodo for $5,000 after an Apple software engineer left the precious phone on a bar stool.

The moron was a Apple engineer who for odd reasons didn't get fired which I think is suspicious. Another engineer at Apple did get fired for showing the Ipad the before the day before the actual release. He showed it to the co-founder of Apple Steve W..something....anyway that engineer was fired for doing that. IMHO this is just another one of APPLE's pathetic PR stunts to generate buzz.
