Hi,
I have a sony HDD handycam camcorder (DCR-SR35). I am taking more and more video these days and I want to start sharing it with friends and family. I have the following setup:
Media Center PC that is networked via an extender to my downstairs TV, extender is my XBox and I use the windows media center software to view my videos back.
I have a you tube account which I want to use to share videos, a lot of our family have iPhones and can access You tube from their phones to watch our videos back.
So far I have been unsuccessfull in finding a software package that will do the all of the following:
1. Allow me to import video from my camera
2. Easily select the clips that I want to publish and automatically concatenate them into a movie
3. Publish the movie to my windows media center PC for playback in high quality to my TV via my extender
4. At the same time publish the video to you tube in a comparable quality in a smaller file size (relative to the aspect ratio) to keep upload time to a minimum
I basically need software that can setup a profile and execute all of the above everytime I transfer from my camera, I dont want to be spending ages waiting for conversions and uploads, just something quick and simple.
Can anyone make any recomendations?
Thanks
Keith

Maybe something like tmpgenc xpress, it can import mod/mpeg2 files, basic cutting and joining, export to different formats. But conversion and making a smaller file size will take some time.
