Hey all, new here.
I'd like to know how to get the best quality when converting DTS-HD (Master Audio) to LPCM out of a .ts or .m2ts file.
Currently this is my method:
eac3to movie-name.ts <audio channel> <audio-out.pcm>
Pcm2Tsmu <audio-out.pcm> <newfile-for-tsMuxer.pcm>
Merge *.pcm with video channel using tsMuxer
I get about an 9GB .pcm file (from a 40GB file) so i assume i am getting the best possible audio conversion whem i mux with tsMuxer? i have ArcSoft DTS Decoder/Surcode DTS installed on eac3to.
Someone told me i needed to extract the core 640kbps AC3 AND the 1500kbps DTS audio, but i find that false since i thought the 640/AC3 was only for playback on devices that didn't support DTS.
