    Basically I want to record NOT IN HD, but record WHILE in HDTV. I have everything and have recorded but the quality is not good enough. For my TV I use the (green) (blue) (red) (white) cables to play in HD, don't know how to play using the typical (white) (red) (yellow) cable.


    Could please someone explain what I need to buy or do??

    What are you capturing from? Many cable/sat boxes output SD and HD simultaneously.

    Best I know some XBox360 models outout HD or SD, others have been reported to output both at the same time.

    I suggest you test your unit.
