    Hi all

    I have a slight problem. I have a video file which when i open will only play the first 6 or so seconds of sound. This isn't necessarily the first seconds however; if i open the file and immediately skip to a random place in the file - it will play 6 seconds from there.

    Any ideas how to get sound throughout?

    What type of video player are you using?

    Have you tried using other players? VLC media player works well with avi files.
