Hello,
Is there some way to copy movies or shows I recorded on my pioneer DVR 645H to an external harddrive?
I hope there is a way, 'cause my harddrive in my recorder is almost full. So I would like to backup them to my external harddisk.
Thanks kevinn

No way to do so. The only way is to copy them to DVD.
Unless you replace the HDD and start recording on a new one. If you need to watch something from the old one, you just change the drive back. I've tried this on DVR640. The HDD-s will have then same ID. Though replacing is inconvenient anyway.
To replace the drive you need Pioneer Service remote and Service DVD.
