My GPS uses a touch screen and so does my PDA, though I haven't used that in a while.

Touch screen cell phone and GPS. No complaints involving either.
-
I own an iPod Touch, GPS and Nintendo DS. I also have a couple of very old touch screen based PDAs collecting dust somewhere.
-
My Volkswagen Navigation system in my car...
Oh yea...and a Nintendo DSi -
Thanks for posting this!
I had forgotten that I do own a Nintendo DS which certainly counts as a touch screen device (it's a LITE model not the newer dsi and certainly not an xl model).
But I don't own any cell phone or media players with touch screens (not yet anyway).Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -

Tablet PC and, *ahem* PDA --- where's that entry?! (though I don't use my Palmpilot any more, I still have it...)
Also given the number of creative people who must browse this place you may wanna add, say, a Wacom Cintiq and it's ilk?
Mind you the laptop, like the wacom, isn't properly "touch" sensitive - they use an electromagnetic pen. I don't know if that counts. But for the type of work you tend to do with them both I think it's superior. Finer control and less fingermarks.-= She sez there's ants in the carpet, dirty little monsters! =-
Back after a long time away, mainly because I now need to start making up vidcapped DVDRs for work and I haven't a clue where to start any more! -
Thats sort of semantics really. You are touching the screen.
If you think about it the new dsixl model should be much more "touchable" than the lite or dsi with the extra screen space.
I would say remote controls with touch screens should count too. I mean they aren't using tactile push buttons so in my view that is a touch screen device (albeit an extremely limited use since it is "just" a remote and not anything else).Donatello - The Shredder? I have a friend who got an HP Touchsmart computer. It's kinda cool for the first five minutes, but then you just get gorilla arm.

Cellphone, GPS and my old Palm PDA.

An assortment of Sony camcorders.
My laptop has a touchscreen - well, not really - but sometimes I want to "touch" it with my fist.John Miller -
I promise not to zombie too many other threads from now on, but I did see this in the history list and thought...
...how much different would the poll results look, now?
Might be worth re-running it and comparing.
I'm on my second touchscreen laptop, my second android smartphone is starting to enter its dotage (I can probably pull another year to 18 months out of it I think), even succumbed to peer pressure and got a fondleslab^H^H^H^H^H 8-inch tablet (in fact, as I saw a really cheap offer on a Win10 one, I got that as well for comparison purposes alongside the Android one... the latter gets far more use!)... the car has an integrated finger-pokey crapnav and radio (and alleged mp3 player), even my new boiler's thermostat has an OLED and touch sensor interface.
Quite strange how much things change in a few short years.Last edited by EddyH; 4th May 2017 at 05:29. Reason: formatting, hmph

I guess a resurrection of this thread will be interesting...
In the house, which I own:
*four iPhones
*four iPads
*two touchscreen laptops
*GPS
*flip-up screen receiver/dvd/nav head unit in my car.
Quite a contrast from 2010. -
I guess meanwhile I'm pretty lone by still having to choose "I dont own any" in 2017.
