Help needed - Video_TS folder player problem

Hi there.

I have a problem Playing a Video_TS DVD film folder. I have tried with 2 different players (VLC and PowerDVD11) and i get more or less the same problem in both.

It happens that when the movie gets to a point when a text is displayed in the movie (not a subtitle, i mean the letters in the cover of a book for instance) the player rewinds a bit and plays the same text sequence but with the words in the alternative language (Spanish in my case) - (Thats in Powerdvd, VLC just hangs and the film continues after the sequence is over).

Is this a known issue? Do i have to download an alternative codec or player or sometihng or the files are just broken?

sounds like the movie was ripped off of a dvd very poorly. whoever did it left multiple angles. dvdshrink may be able to rip it again with just one angle.
