I am converting a DivX movie to a VCD following the all in one guide in the convert section, and it works but the only problem, as listed in the title, my widescreen/letterboxed movie is streched to fit the entire screen. I need someway of keeping the black bars that are in the movie when I normally watch it. There must be some setting in TMPGEnc 2.53 or 2.02 that can fix this but I have now idea how or where.
If I click "Settings" then go to the video tab, under aspect ratio it says "4:3 525 line(NTSC)." Although if I just play the movie with something like win. media player it plays fine, widescreen and all. If I check the same video in the "File:\preview" section in TMPGEnc when I am trying to encode it, it shows up as full screen 4:3 ratio.
I just need to know how to keep it in 16:9 or whatever while converting so I don't have a streched, abnormal movie.
Any help would be appreciated!
