  1. Hi

Some of the keys on my laptop(Compaq Presario CQ50) have drooped off and i think the plastic at the back of the keys, that should hold them in position, have been broken. So they will not hold there position, so I need to buy new keys.

I found these two site: individualkeys.com och laptopkey.com They got exactly what I need, but there is no information about these companies when I googled them. So I got afraid that they are scam companies? Have anyone bought stuff from them and can confirm they are reliable?

Just the names make me guess..

Here, if you want a whole new keyboard then get it from Amazon.com
    http://www.amazon.com/PWR-CQ50-101LA-CQ50-103LA-CQ50-103NR-9J-N8682-401/dp/B002ONODA4

Just type this in google/shopping "Compaq Presario CQ50 keyboard" and you'll get a lot of results, you are even able to check the companies ratings with google.

  3. So you guess itīs fake then? If fake itīs strange such sites donīt get closed down....

Amazon.com could work and it was cheap. However I live in Sweden I guess shipping will be expensive!? Also my model says CQ50-100eo. Your link just says for model CQ-50, wonder if itīs the right one...

You could always connect an external keyboard (probably USB).

It may actually be cheaper to get a whole new keyboard, depending on how many keys you need to get.

Check eBay to see if there is international shipping.

Maybe you can even try Amazon Germany.

Also, those sites that you listed seem legit enough.

I'm not sure if they are "fake", I just don't buy from a site I don't trust. The link I provided did have your model listed, it has a lot of models listed actually but yeah I'm thinking the shipping may cost a bit.

But like I said, just do the google/shopping search and try to stick with trusted sites. Good luck to you

  6. The problem is that I only find individualkeys.com och laptopkey.com that provide replacement keys to the keyboard. It will cost 30$ for 6keys from there.

That problem if I should by a whole new keyboard is that I donīt know how to replace it. And here in Sweden where I live it will cost almost 100$ if I order from a Swedish company. If I order from Europe I got the problem with shipping cost....

I think I will go for individualkeys.com and hope for the best. However itīs realy strange that there is so quiet about this company. If it was a scam it should be known from people how got scammed. If it was legit it should be a big company, because people need replacement keys and it should been known as a big company. I donīt get it, because it seems like no one have heard about these company and they should have been around for years according to website....
