Hi all.
I've shot a short film in 24p HD. Edited on Final Cut Pro 7, and the files were quicktime.
A blu-ray was burned just fine with Toast. Looks great.
However, when making copies on DVD with Toast, something bizaree has happened.
There are horizontal lines that are visable on the DVD footage, but I only noticed on an HD monitor. When I watched on an old analog monitor, it looked normal.
Jagged lines can be seen throughout the video. It's very distracting, especially on someone's face.
The DVD player on the HD monitor can only display 480p, and doesn't upscale. I've tried it on a second dvd player and HD monitor, with the same result, so I guess I can dismiss a bad player or monitor.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
