Access Software from computer to Computer using network?

Hi,

My Main computer is XP, which gots the software. Replaced another computer with Vista. I want to be able to access the software on the XP computer using the Vista computer to where the Vista is able to make changes to the XP computers software. It was set up with the old computer, however, I am not sure how to fix it with the new computer? I know how to map the drives, however, I do not know how to get the software to load on the vista computre and still make chances which stay on the Xp computer? I have got everything shared on both computers full access.

I figured it out! Thanks so much! I have to install the software on this computre also and then map a drive to the main computer to access the information on both computres and still have it be on the main computer!
