Multiple questions about HD video capture (broadcast, Happauge, Tivo)

What are you guys using for capture? My Avermedia card is very buggy at 1080i. Pre-ordered the Hauppauge Colossus but no sign as to when they will ship it. Hope it works when it gets here.

I am working with NERO Liquid TV, what a pain. Started in April last year and I'm still not done. They released a new version in November and it doesn't lock up system like it used to. I would like to use Win7 32 or 64 but the IR blaster that came with NERO TIVO has no driver for Win7. The idea is to have all video and sound manged between Harmony remote and HTPC. Haven't gotten there yet! I think others have succeeded. Anyone using ZOTAC Mini ITX board? I'm on my second RMA and third board! Their moto should be "small, cheap but crappy!"

I finally got my Hauppauge Colosus card which only supports H.264 and Mpeg2 or .TS is not supported. NERO Liquid TV can not get any video from Colosus card. I tried SageTV7 but it also did not support Colossus card with HDMI capture. Spent a month with forum and SageTV support but no joy. Finally gave up and decided to go with Windows Media Center7 and Win7 X86 Ultimate. I like Win7 X86 , it is noticably quicker than the 64 bit version. Just got a new full time job in Network Engineering so my brain is kind of taxed out right now. This is a new career path, I'm basically a Windows Systems and support guy. Will finish my HTPC setup next week sometime. Nicest thing will be the automatic deletion of commercials that can be setup in WMC7, looking forward to that!
