Cannot View/Load Internet Images

I'm at wit's end on this.
It started here:
http://www.mymemory.co.uk/
The above site usually times out before it loads....and IF it does load I get no product images.
No biggie....screw them....I'll shop elsewhere.

NOW I cannot view images on Google Images(type in anything...click search - page full of empty boxes where images should be).

I've been playing with the MyMemmory site problem for a while.....off and on....but now Google images?
In the past I've tried EVERYTHING.
Uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox - nothing
Tried IE - nothing
Disabled all Firefox plugins/add ons - nothing
Cleared/cleaned out Firefox - nothing
Disabled Comodo - nothing
Disabled Avast - nothing
CCleaner on everything - nothing
No spyware, malware, viruses, rootkits.

Any ideas where to look next? My wife's laptop is connected to the internet
with the same LAN point(or whatever it is)....the laptop has NO problems.

Update:
Updated JAVA - fixed the Google image problem(had JAVA set to manually update) - no change on mymemory.co.uk

FALSE HOPE......very next Google image search produced empty boxes.....again.

I just tried that site, all the images display, but it is over loaded with flash, ad keeps re-downloading flash video or images at the top. There are several video/image panes that are playing. So, things are prob over loaded or something, maybe. But i'm on dialup, and it took a while for everything to download to my opera browser. But it is doing other funky things that I don't like. It is constantly blanking my bottom scroll bar at every intervals..maybe refreshing somethings, I don't know, though I wonder if this site is "polling" my ip and other stuff. Anyway. i was just doing it for you. I can snip the page for you if you like.

Hell....I would settle for images to show up on Google right now and try to completely forget mymemory.
This is really pissing me off.

And that Mozilla link was very good but....I cannot see image #5 in the very first post
of that Mozilla thread....but there is no info on what to look for as a cure for the problem
of image #5 not showing up.

I think I finally got internet images to load (at least on Firefox anyway). Comodo was blocking a bunch of JAVA stuff.
I had no idea JAVA had anything to do with image results via a Google search but hey...they are working again for now.
Still no lock on Mymemory.com but....screw those a§§holes.

i went to the picture host site and that number 5 image is currently returning a 404 file not found error. so ignore that one i don't think anyone can see it anymore.

The thumbnail images/Google search results/Firefox problem reared it's ugly head again.
I even uninstalled JAVA.....no change.

Did some more Google searching and found this fix which has worked so far.
It involves changing Firefox settings.

about:config
change network.http.max-connections to 10
change network.http.max-connections-per-server to 5

Problem solved....again....for now.
Even the POS MyMemory site loads now.
