    Hallo,

    I have a little tricky problem - I got a Video-CD (from a friend ) and I cannot play on my Computer.

    If I put the CD in the Standalone DVD-Player (Thomson DTH 5000) there is no problem. I copy the File to the computer but no playing with my softplayers.

    OK here some details:

    The Filestructure on the CD:
    +-EXT
    +-MPEG2 (The Videofile)
    +-SEGMENT
    +-SVCD

    And here the beginning of the AVSEQ01.MPG:

    -> RIFFôÂ*1CDXAfmt  UXA data

    It's a SVCD, but what size, bandwidth and.....

    do you have dvd player software

    it sounds like you don't have an MPEG 2 Decoder
