  1. Ok I have a Haupauge HD 1212 I use to capture TV shows I have it capturing in MP4 at 1920x1200 but if I play it in Quicktime or VLC the video is cropped and you only see the left side of the screen. If I play it in WMP it is fine. anyone know why this is and how I can correct the problem? I would like to be able to use quicktime to edit the video and retain the video quality. Especially when I am captuing HD streams.

What decoder/codecs do you have for WMP? Or are you using windows7 built in decoders?

You could try run through the mp4 in yamb, mp4muxer and make new mp4 and see if it works better. You can also do some cutting in yamb.

  3. Sorry didn't even think about to mention system info. I am using Windows 7 x64 and the CCCP codec pack not sure which version since I am not currently at home. I will give yamb a try and see what I get. Thank you.
