Hello,
I'm capturing from a set-top digital cable box to the s-video input on my AIW 8500dv.
And the picture quality on my monitor IMO sucks @ss bigtime (i.e.very fuzzy, dark, etc...).
I've try'd toying around with the display settings, contrast, brightness, hue, etc.. but still pretty bad.
I hooked the same cable box to my 7 year old rca tv and the picture was great .
so i thought it must be the monitor, but the problem with that idea is that dvds, rips, divx, etc.. all look great.
is this normal or am i doing something wrong here?
my system is:
Windows XP Professional
Epox 8kha+
AXP 1800+
512 Corsair pc2100 ddr memory
ATI AIW Radeon 8500dv (6015)
1x10gb quantum fireball as (7200rpm)
1x80gb Maxtor (5400rpm)
2x60gb Maxtor (7200rpm)
19" Komodo monitor @1024x768, 85hz, refresh
thx
klumbz
