  1. Well, hello folks, here begging and hoping to get a fix or something around with this very common problem around the encoding field but it seem there is not topic related to my events and I donīt specifically know what could be causing this A/V sync problem with StaxRip(A GUI that Iīm using all the time now cus of its good work at giving me tremendous quality-wise in my results) where as encoding with MeGUI it doesnīt (fit to say that the same happen with almost every GUI I have issued with but MeGUI), if I ainīt wrong, this kind of problem is the progressively kind, since constant are the easier to deal with, but this one doesnīt matter if I addresses a certain ms in Media player classic, it goes out of sync later on...Kinda tired now of this errors.

Well the root of this happening originate at the attempt of re-encoding to a low size output into a MKV container an anime series I have had in my HD a good time now with the idea of sharing it further and by re-searching the matter, seem like an Audio track with VBR aka variable bit-rate mode cause this kind of issues almost most of the time and sincerely donīt know if any other thing may cause that as well, but I want to ask...

How can I solutionate this kind of problem with StaxRrip?, and why MeGUI doesīt give me that problem and staxrip does...? there has to be something Iīm doing wrong with StaxRip, have to be known I have fallow almost every form of issueing this happening around the net, extracting audio and then muxing after, encoding with megui from VBR to Adaptive or Constant(I ainīt sure of this though, I mean if encoding the audio with constant setting would change the VBR mode of the source) and finally with vmod...someone adviced me to use sony vega for syncing but I ainīt sure as well, any tool that use to deal with that?

Well, anyway Here are the fileīs specs and the source itself as well as the differents results I get throughout encoding with MeGUI and StaxRip at the same settings(where StaxRip successfully give me less size and better quality).

  2. No one can help here?

Some advice would come handy, at least can someone tell me how to addresses this kind of bitrate mode in source...since tried mediainfo and nothing, it doesnīt say it is varaible but after the proccess of encoding is done which result of a waste of effort and time..that way I could avoid handling with suchs kind of hassles.

Please I would be soo grateful to you.

I took a look at the file. First thing I did was to use MKVmerge and saved it to a new MKV file.
Second, noticed it had a mod 2 width (718) possibly problematic. I downloaded the latest Beta of Staxrip,
but as you said, it ended up out of sync.

I used directshowsource in Avisynth and resized it to 704/400 in the script. Even though convertfps was true,
the converted file was still out of sync. There are experienced Avisynth users on this forum that may be able to help further.

Take a look at the procedure on this page, it talks about using mkv2vfr to generate an AVS script
to retime the variable frame rate source.
    http://edwardk.info/wmv2avi/

Or use directshowsource2 as mentioned on this page:
    http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=134275

    Here's a script example:
    LoadPlugin("F:\Program Files\AviSynth 2.5\plugdlls\avss.dll")
    dss2("f:/tod.mkv",fps=23.976)
    lanczosresize(704,400)

    Here's one I did:
