Please help total newbie

I have managed to obtain my first DivX which is 799mb I would like to convert this to a VCD through Nero but it is obviously over 80mins long, how do I get it on to two discs ?????

Just try it with a 700MB CD-R.

When you burn VCD, it burns in "raw" mode, thus you should be able to use Nero to create a VCD, encode with it if needed, and burn it.

Up until 2 weeks ago, I had a 4 year old 2x Richo CD-RW burner that burned VCD's that big with no problem.

Just give it a whirl.

The MPEG after conversion will get probably larger than 800 MB.

if the videoclip is over 80 mins and you wanna make VCD you must
1. encode www.vcdhelp.com/convert.htm
2. cut in to pieces www.vcdhelp.com/editmpg.htm
3. burn on two cds www.vcdhelp.com/burnmpg.htm

Great thanks for your help, I got it on two discs, the quality isnt as good i.e. lower resolution but its watchable.. is this the best quality I will get , I think its at 358 x 358 .. ?? maybe
