Hi Guys
This is the problem.
When I connect my camera through i-Link computer doesn't show any icon or the software(PMB) Doesn't show anything. When it connect through USB it works and video can be import but the quality is not good. I'm running windows 7. I try the software on vertual machine and still no good. Does anybody have some idea about how to fix it?.

try a different firewire cable. see if winDV will work. make sure the camera is on and in play mode when you plug it in. try the camera on a computer you know works with firewire connected cams, if yours still doesn't show up the firewire port is dead.

Me and my friend also having the same problem. I connected it to the back panel ieee1394 port. There is another port in mid board(As the mother board manual says), can I use the mid board port?. Is it okey to use it?.
