Last year I was able to stream from two cameras using Windows Media Encoder. A friend would pickup my two live streams and then make the rebroadcast available to multiple viewers. Since then he lost the access he had to bandwidth. Currently I am using UStream. That works OK, but I can only show one stream, and my downstream bandwidth seems to suffer when I am broadcasting.
I have access to a virtual Windows server at a university site, and I'm wondering if it would be practical to use that access to try to rebroadcast my video streams. What I would like to do is to just pickup my two WME streams from my home computer and then make them available to a few simultaneous viewers.
Could someone point me to some information on that subject, so I can decide if it's practical for me to try it?
Would it be practical to run Windows Media Server or something else to pickup my streams and rebroadcast them?
Thanks,
Charles
