  1. How to change IDX/SUB framerate with Windows 7 64Bit ?

I know that Vobsub Cutter can do it and I've done it hundred times before but with 32Bit versions of Windows

Vobsub Cutter doesn't work with 64Bit

  2. Try SubtitleCreator then. Synchronize->Convert Framerate

    Thank you very much

I used SubtitleCreator 2.3RC1 (because older versions gave me error in opening IDX/SUB files !) and it can do all I want but there is a big problem with this program :

Alot of IDX/SUB subtitles would have messed up colors when I change the framerate and save them !

And sometimes alot of lines is painted black in a strange way !

    Here is what happens :

First when I open the IDX/SUB file :

Name:	sub1p.jpg
Views:	597
Size:	182.4 KB
ID:	1843

Then when I change fps and save the file and reopen it :

Name:	sub2r.jpg

Size:	190.4 KB
ID:	1844

  4. The colors can easily be changed. I use VobSub Configure for that (comes included in the VobSub package). I don't guess you see that purplish stuff when actually using the subs, but if there's anything else wrong after the framerate conversion, I wouldn't know what it is as I've never had any problems converting the framerate using SubtitleCreator. Perhaps there's something wrong with the subs to begin with. Sometimes opening and then saving them immediately can fix that. After that then you might try to change the framerate. Might work, and might not.

  5. No , I do see the messed-up colors when I watch the movie with the subs

Unfortunately Vobsub Configure also doesn't work with 64Bit windows

  6. I don't know then. And I was going to upgrade to 64 bit W7. Maybe now I'll stick with the 32 bit version. I do too much subtitle work to have problems like that. I apologize for not being much help

Try opening the Start Menu shortcut and in the Target line, change System32 to SysWow64. That's where 32 bit stuff gets redirected on 64 bit windows. Most similar start menu shortcuts will work if you substitute SysWow64.
