I have a multi region free DMP-BD80 panasonic blu-ray player. It plays most of my blu-ray movies just fine but some of them mostly ones from anchorbay entertainment and now the remake of the collector on blu-ray it won't play it at all. it saids this DVD will not play on this player because of wrong region code setting, When I first put it in to play it's already on region 1. When I try the other two I get the same error message. I contacted panasonic but got nowhere with them. What am I suppose to do?

Then you need to contact 220-electronics. I don't see any reference to
"region free" on the official Panasonic site.

    $432 and it requires a multi-system tv?!

I would get the US model for $299 and wait for the US Blu-ray release, you can get the newer BD85 for even less. If you want a cheap multi-system DVD player(that doesn't require a multi-system tv) then get a Philips.
