Hello,
I would like to know how to rip foreign-region DVDs without changing the region settings on my PC.
The computer being used is a Windows Vista 64-bit.
This is a new problem for me since using Vista. In the past I used to use a Windows XP and would run DVD43 on it with DVD Shrink, getting around this problem. DVD43 refuses to run on my Vista because it is 64-bit.
Do programs like DVD Fab Decrypter allow you to keep your drive's region settings unaffected? Any help would be appreciated. I'm only interesting in ripping.

DVD Fab Decrypter will ask for the region code of the DVD before ripping, but this will not affect the region setting on your PC's DVD drive. Once ripped, the DVD will be able to play on your computer either from the VIDEO_TS folder on your hard drive or from the DVD that you burn from those files.

Decrypting to the hard drive (DVD Decrypter, DVDFab HD Decrypter, etc.) won't change the region setting of your DVD-RW.
