Hi all-
Is anyone aware of a program out there that will monitor a folder (or better yet, multiple folders) and automatically convert the video files to a pre-defined, specified format? So for example, I have a folder that I drop mostly high-quality xvid/h.264 videos in and I would like it so when a file is put there, it's automatically converted to a smaller video file that I can take "on the go".
Free is always good but I'd be willing to pay 20-30 bucks for a commerical app if it did what I want.
Thanks!!

http://www.watchdirectory.net/wdhelp/plugins/wdopAutoRunBat.html (or google folder monitor) together with a command line converter like ffmpeg (see http://ffmpeg.org/ffmpeg-doc.html#SEC5 for examples)
