Converting Files From Camcorder 1080i To Dvd Pal Problem.

Hi all..

I have just purchased a Sanyo Xacti VPC-GH1 camcorder.. It does 1080i @ 60fps

I previously had a Sanyo Xacti VPC-HD700 camcorder which did 720p @ 30fps.

I am playing these 1080 files perfectly on my pc and also have a standalone decoder that plays them as well..

The problem I am having is when I convert them to dvd files using svcd2dvd then I am getting no sound.

I did have sound on my old 720 one but not on this...

Can anyone point me in the right direction please as this is the only software that converts from 1080 @ 60 down to dvd pal format without the framerate going jerky and unwatchable..

Haven't used that app in ages. Sounds like the new camera is using a different audio codec.
