I could go do some searching but I know we all love to talk computers here so... what's the news with 3D imaging and computers?

Are we going to need some fancy GPU's or is it all up to the monitor?

    Lets here it!

Are you talking about 3D TV or games or something else?

Personnaly, I see a 3D monitor for games will be the next big thing.

Fake 3D+active glasses = gamer geek target

Yes, mainly 3D computer gaming or just video playback with a computer. I don't ever see myself getting into the 3D gaming since I only play a few online games and as for video playback I'd rather see it on my TV

I heard that also we may be seeing 3D without needing the "goggles" those things are pretty funny looking and usually pretty large. I would hate to have to sit there for a couple of hours with the glasses on watching a movie or something.

Then nothing much new for you.

PC games are out of favor unless something like 3D will revive them.

3D would require sale of new video card + glasses + monitor.
