  1. Hello. I took some videos with my mobile phone (LG KU990i) and it was saved in avi format.
When I transfer that avi files to my pc there is audio and video only in VLC player.
The video is playable in Media Classic but there is not audio.
The problem is when I convert it in flv or mp4 format in order to upload them in youtube they lose their sound and in VLC player.
When I try to upload it in avi format there is no audio.
What should I do to solve that problem?

Here is the URL of a video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vNpnzQ5db8A

Please give information, what converter(s) are you using? Give more information about your source avi, video and audio codec(identify with mediainfo).

I would try reconvert with xmedia recode, winff or handbrake. All free.

edit: Missed that you already tried upload it as an avi.

  3. Yea, I will do it.

I used xmedia recode, total video converter, allok video joiner, xilisoft, ultra video converter, aimersoft total media etc but no sound in all the converters.

    Strange. Looks normal mp3 audio.

As the audio works in VLC you could use it to try reconvert it, under Media->Convert/Save. Open avi, click convert/save and choose a profile like Video Mpeg-4 AAC(mp4).

  6. I installed K-Lite codecs and now the AVI video has sound and in media player classic.
But as I understood the issue is when I upload to youtube or convert it into flv and mp4 it lose the sound.
I would be grateful if someone tell me a solution.

You have a mono audio, which probably messes the conversion (notice 1 channel).
So, the issue becomes how to map 1 channel mp3 to 2 channel aac.
