  1. I'm trying to make a gif from this avi http://www.mediafire.com/?om2lymzqg2q but I keep running into a bunch of problems
    so if anyone wants to help me or make one for me, I'd very much appreciate it!

    If you want to make one I'd like it to be from 1:08.768 - 1:13.373 or fram 2061 - 2199 (this is in avidemux if it makes any difference?)

    Thanks~!

    also if you decide to make one I'd like it to be 150px × 113px
    and if anyone knows how to remove a watermark from a video/gif (didn't feel like making a new thread)

  2. VirtualDub:

    File -> Open AVI File
    Mark-in
    Mark-out
    File -> Export -> Animated GIF

    Half size (320x240) and decimated by 3:

    Name:  Kaela.gif
Views: 919
Size:  2.27 MB

    Unfortunately, it was already blend deinterlaced.

  3. What is blend deinterlace - sorry, I'm new to these things

    and I tried downloading VirtualDub and opening the .avi but an error message pops up: Couldn't locate decompressor for format H264, any help?

  4. You need a VFW based h.264 decoder: http://sourceforge.net/projects/x264vfw/

    The original video was interlaced. The AVI file you uploaded was deinterlaced with a blend algorithm. It makes every frame look like a double exposure:
