  1. Hi! I'm having trouble burning files and folders to DVDs. I'm currently using Nero 7.8.5.0 and I get an Internal target error, then Could not perform end of Disc-at-once and then finally Burn process failed at 4x/8x. I tried both at 4x and at 8x.
    Any help would be appreciated.

I saved the log for it:

Use ImgBurn....and Ritek discs are NOT recommended by many people here.

Just because a disc say's "maxell" on it, that does not mean maxell actually made the disc.

Looks like DMA is off. 'Control Panel>Device Manager>IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers' Try to change it back there. If not, uninstall the channel the device is on, reboot. This will cause no data loss.

    And welcome to our forums.

Okay, thanks. Maybe I'll try one of my verbatim discs. The thing is, I didn't use to have any problems burning to this type of disc with the same program. I just don't get why it starts having problems now.

Find the controller channel that shows as DMA off, R click it, select 'Uninstall', reboot. With DMA off, you will have slow disk reads/writes, errors, high CPU usage. It happens when trying to read a damaged disk.

Doesn't ImgBurn fix DMA problems almost automatically?

if it does then DMA is not the problem then as I tried using imgburn to burn the files/iso into the ritek disc. Am currently trying to write the same iso into a verbatim disc using imgburn.

As I recall ImgBurn gives you a warning message and asks you if you want ImgBurn to fix the problem.
