I want to burn like 50 dvds to a hard drive and then have them loop. How do I do that? What software do I use? What format do I burn the DVDs in? ISO, VOB? How do I get it to loop once it has goen through the list?

Looping and playlists basically come down to the player you are using. After that, format is secondary. You don't want ISO or VOBs unless you have done movie only rips, as many players will get caught on the menus waiting for input. You could use VOB2MPG to extract just the video/audio tracks as mpg files, then play these back.

Are you playing these back from your computer or an external device ?

I am playing them back from an internal 1.5 TB hard drive. What is the best media player to make a list of 50 movies on? Also, is there a way to rip the DVD straight to an mpg format rather than going to ISO or VOB and then going to mpg? I'm sure I'll think of more questions as I go along, but thank you for responding and for your help.

If you have AnyDVD running in the background then you can use VOB2MPG to extract the files directly from the disc. Otherwise you need to use a ripper that can break the protection first (DVDFab HD Decrypter), then extract the MPG files.

Thank you so much for the info. I got that to work using anydvd and vob2mpg. What is a good media play to use to stack up a bunch of movies and play them all in a row? It needs to be without interuption, continuous and be able to repeat. I was able to get them into mpg form though. Thank you so much for you help guns1inger!!
