  1. Hi

I edited a short film on a Mac and accidentally exported it as an mp4. Now, whenever I try convert it, I get a mangled, gray image. I needed to do a little touch up in Windows Movie Maker, so I managed to convert it to avi. I then needed to put it online, and seeing as I couldn't convert the mp4 file to flv, I converted the avi file instead. The film was origanally shot with a not-too-great camera, so this "triple conversion" has really degraded the quality.

So I finally got fed up and uploaded the mp4 straight to YouTube. It came through with the same sort of grayed over effect.

Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?

    Here's the video:

(Watch out: the file is 160 MB)

    Thanks
