    I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop purchased in USA and have now moved to New Zealand. Can anyone help me change the region? I'm blonde. Thanks

    Use a software to remove the region coding, like the free dvd43 or AnyDVD. After installed just play the DVD as usual.

    The free VLC player ignores DVD region codes.

    My suggestion or Baldrick's are better, but if you really do want to change the region of the DVD drive to 4 (I think NZ is in 4) then just put a region 4 DVD in the drive and you'll be prompted to change it. Drives can be changed 5 times and the 5th change locks the drive permanently in that region.
