Hi,
I have a sony HDR-XR520V high definition camcorder and I am using it shoot videos.
The video quality is amazing and I am very impressed with the camcorder. However, it saves the video in AVCHD format in the form of MTS files. I tried to convert it with SUPER, but SUPER is not rendering the MTS file.
Is there anyway I can use SUPER to render the MTS file and convert into AVI with H.264 codec?
It looks like SUPER will be able to handle M2TS file, but not the MTS.
I tried to convert the video to avi using DivX, xVid, msmpeg2 etc, but I am not very happy with the quality of the video. I tried using Any Video Converter free, Koyotesoft free video converter, iWisoft free video converter etc.
Can some one help?
Thanks,
Balaji.

It did last time I looked:
Outputs: File format: MP4, MKV, AVI or OGM, Video: MPEG-4, H.264, or Theora... -

It can cause problems. AVI is an ancient container format from the early '90s, and wasn't intended for a modern codec like H.264. MKV and MP4 are modern containers that were built for H.264 and other recent codecs.
Anything that plays H.264 video should support MKV or MP4, so there's no reason to use AVI.
