The title line pretty much says it all.
I'd like to post a link to a piece of work I've done for the sake of constructive criticism. However I can't think of a way to do it without converting it to a DVD, which will be too large for anyone to be willing to download/check out
When playing a DVD it's easy to switch between audio streams "on the fly", so to speak... but a program like VirtualDub (for instance) won't let you do that. Unless I'm unaware of the feature.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks
    Justin

AVImuxGUI to add a second audio track, VLC/The KM Player/MPC etc to play back and switch audio streams on the fly. In fact most decent players can do this (not WMP, of course)

  3. Virtual Dub's main purpose isn't as a player but as an encoder. If creating an AVI, it's easy enough to use it to add 2 audio tracks to the AVI, though.

Most players have the ability to switch audio tracks when 2 or more are included.

Sorry for the delay. You wouldn't believe what I've been through but I digress.
I did notice that VDubMod allows you to add multiple streams which is good, but I'd like to make sure the "audience" is capable to easily switch between the 2 "on the fly" so to speak. I don't have VLC, but I could install it to see how it works. The last time I installed it I didn't use it much. In your opinion(s), which is the most ideal for such a situation?

  5. There's no guarantee that everyone playing the video will be able to access both audio streams, given that most people use the crummy WMP. To be able to do it with WMP they'd need something like the Morgan Stream Switcher:

Personal choice is The KM Player, but MPC or MPC HC are probably the easiest because there is no installer. You can just run the executable form the desktop if necessary
