I'm confused, does the .wtv not contain the audio too? Seems like it should, I thought .wtv was just a new container format for dvr-ms with the ability to do drm? I figure its an audio decoder issue or something but not sure what to do, I've got CCCP and ffdshow_rev3326_20100319_clsid_x64 installed so what do you think the issue here is? The .wtv works in WMC and WMP just fine, when I use Win7 built in support for .wtv > .dvr-ms conversion the output .dvr-ms has no audio stream it seems, I checked with MediaInfo and there is no audio stream listed but the fact that no audio plays from it in any player was already a pretty good indication of the problem.
I'm used to working with mpeg2 .ts from my home dvr but I wanted to it with WMC's recording features to record some ATSC broadcasts, this particular one is a talk show on CBS.
(I don't know how to provide a sample of the .wtv file or I would have done that too)
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!
