If you can only capture audio at 44,100 Hz, do you have to convert it to 48,000 Hz later to make a fully compliant DVD which would be using AC3 audio?

Short Story: Dscaler is the *only* software that is capable of displaying the picture in color but it only captures Audio at 44 100 Hz no matter what other setting is changed. -
You're using an integrated audio card, aren't you?

lordsmurf that's a negative, Voyetra Turtle Beach Santa Cruz PCI sound card. It's very good.
Noahtuck, I am capturing video from a European VHS tape from RCA out into my Kansas TV Wonder Pro PCI video capture card.
My question was about Audio in this thread, I understand it has to be at 48 KHz but DScaler doesn't give me that option. Problem is solved since I needed to convert single channel into 2 channel anyway and when doing so I converted it from 44.1 to 48 KHz also. -
Looks to be a Dscaler issue. If dscaler works, VirtualDub should too.
