Xvid4PSP .mkv file opening problem

Xvid4PSP 5.037 gives 'Cannot find file x:\xxx\xxxxx\xxx.mkv'. upon selecting it and opening. Same result if done using 'Open' or the 'File/Open file...' commands.

Any ideas?

Simplify the path and file name to see if it helps.
For example, make it c:\myfile.mkv.
