  1. I've been converting mov's to flv's with ffmpegx for a few months with no problems. But recently, whenever i try it, my flv's end up looking like they are about 6 frames per second. I'm going for the full 29.97. The audio plays fine, though.

I've tried using different source material with the same result.

i tried converting to different codecs and things seemed fine

I also tried reinstalling ffmpegx (but not the binaries, yet) with no luck

    Here's my settings
    VIDEO
    video bitrate: 1700
    time: 11 min
    size: 139 MB

    video size 720x400
    frame rate: 29.97

    AUDIO (default)
    codec: mp3
    bitrate: 56kbits
    Sampling: 22050
    channel: stereo
    mode: cbr
    audio track: 0
    invert mapping checked

    FILTERS
    deinterlace checked

    OPTIONS
    high quality checked
    qmin: 2
    qmax: 10
    keyframe:300

these are the same settings I've been using all along, only now they don't give me good frame rate. help me please.

  3. Thanks for the advice, but in all honesty, I won't be able to relax and enjoy all life has to offer until this is figured out. It used to work, dammit.

Sounds like one of the known issues.
