No sound in VideoStudio Pro X3 =(

Whenever I import HD Mpeg-2 or WMV videos - I get no audio. Is there a fix to this?

I get audio if I import M2TS or MP4 files. But Mpeg-2 HD is the easiest to edit.

What is the audio codec in your mpeg2 files? Identify using mediainfo.

Convert to DVD. Then editing is not a problem.

I checked with mediainfo and the audio is: 256 kbps, 48.0 KHz, 2 Channels, AC-3

the other two options I can convert to are MP2 and MP3.

Do you have a trial version or a full version?

problem solved. I convert my videos to Divx AVI instead of Mpeg-2 HD and now there's audio when I import into VideoStudio =)
